About the Film

This is the story of an Australian woman, Shraddha and her quest to find answers to life's universal questions. Who am I ? Who is God? Where do we come from? And how can we find peace?

The film documents Shraddha’s journey, spanning over two decades, as she travels from her home in the Australian rainforest with her husband and growing family on an epic pilgrimage to the four corners of the earth, meeting and interviewing indigenous elders and spiritual masters from many cultures.

This is a story of courage, a search for truth, a journey of faith and a quest for answers.

Have you ever wondered;

Who You are and Where You come from?

Well Shraddha always has and that’s what takes herself, husband and three children on this Spiritual journey.

During these amazing years we watch this family grow and change as they travel back and forth from their handmade home in the Australian Rainforest, to the Four directions of the planet.

Reaching the source of the Ganges, in the Himalayas of India. Findhorn in the north of Scotland,

the Indian tribal land of North America and into the   heart of the Australian Desert.

Enduring landslides & floods, diving below the ocean and rising into the sky in a hot air balloon.

In Innocence, what starts out as a vision to make this film after attending an event one evening of chanting monks from Tibet.

This journey becomes a epic pilgrimage revealing itself as they are guided by spirit or an inner calling to meet Religious leaders, politicians ,Indigenous elders of many tribes and cultures, Spiritual masters, medicine men, enlightened beings, peace workers, doctors and scientists all sharing their knowledge and wisdom with us.

During which time we feel the families humanness, share their joy and despair, disappointments and triumphs on this journey of trust, which takes them full circle back to their home in the rainforest to discover “The Art of Being”.

Synopsis

Have you ever wondered who you are?
Where do you come from?
How we can find World Peace?

I have…..

…and that’s what took me and my family on this journey to discover

“The Art of Being”

For over two incredible decades, we travelled back and forth from our home in the Australian rainforest to the four corners of the planet, reaching the source of the Ganges in the Himalayas of India, Findhorn in the north of Scotland, the Indian tribal lands in North America and the heart of the Australian desert, enduring sandstorms, landslides and floods, diving below the surface of the ocean, and rising into the sky in a hot air balloon. We travelled by foot, train, plane, boat and automobile, to find universal answers to the eternal questions,

Who are we? Who is God? What happens when we die?

Where do we come from? …and how do we find peace?

During what became an epic pilgrimage we met religious leaders and politicians, indigenous elders of many tribes and cultures, spiritual masters and medicine men, enlightened beings, peace workers, doctors and scientists, who all shared their knowledge and wisdom.

Even whales, dolphins and other animals and birds shared their environmental message, of how to live in harmony with us.

Music is a big part of the film with a musical score composed by professional local and international musicians, with a mix of traditional and modern instruments, including live recordings on location.

Currently in post production, we are seeking presale to an Australian broadcaster to facilitate international distribution and funding, to bring this film to completion.

Mentors and crew in the industry guiding and supporting this project are Jenny Kendall, Kim Kindersley, Peter Simon and Wim Wenders.

Gito von Schlippe, co cameraman, sound recordist and stills.

This film is current right now, as World Peace and global warming issues are increasing in priority, and global consciousness is expanding to incorporate facets of many spiritual and cultural traditions.

With strong Australian content and made by an Australian woman, this film will attract a wide audience both young and old, as it follows an Australian family as we search for answers to the questions many of us are asking in our lives, sharing our humanness, our joy and despair, success and failure, disappointments and triumphs.

I see this documentary as a feature film, broadcast via television, screened in cinemas and at film festivals around the world.

This documentary narrative is seen through my eyes, taking the audience on a crazy, wild, wonderful adventure, weaving the story through inspiring music, profound interviews and extraordinary images.

A journey of trust with a rare depth of honesty, humour and hope.
